About us
Mission & Vision
Conservation from the ground up, in Nalanda and across Bihar.
Our mission
To protect wild lives where people and wildlife share the same ground.
Magadh Nature Conservation Trust brings together environmentally minded young people to work on wildlife conservation and environmental sustainability across Bihar and Jharkhand.
In practice that means three things: community outreach and awareness, rescue and rehabilitation of wild animals, and capacity-building workshops for local communities, school and college students, and forest department frontline staff.
Our vision
A Bihar where people and wildlife share the land safely.
Where every village knows the wild species living alongside it, every rescue call is answered, and the wetlands, forests and heronries of Magadh are looked after by the communities around them.
